The Joliet Park District announced today that the Taste of Joliet will not take place in 2026 and will be replaced by a new event in 2027. “It was an incredible two decades of entertainment,” said Joliet Park District Board President Sue Gulas. “Thank you to all of our Joliet and Chicagoland attendees and all of the fans that came from 23 different states in 2025. We are a park district, not a music venue, yet we provided top level artists year after year. Special thanks to our amazing staff and volunteers who transformed a stadium into a concert venue and put on an event of this level for so long. Stay tuned for 2027!”
Since its return in 2006, the Taste of Joliet hosted a wide range of entertainment, with names like Zendaya, Sammy Hagar, Goo Goo Dolls, Train, Cole Swindell, Kane Brown, Dan + Shay, Little Big Town, Brett Eldredge, Lady A, Chase Rice, Brett Young, Cheap Trick, Jimmy Allen, REO Speedwagon, STYX, Billy Corgan, Brothers Osborne, Dylan Scott, Billy Currington, Scotty McCreery, Mitchell Tenpenny, Tyler Hubbard, Trace Adkins, Foreigner, Big & Rich, 38 Special, Rick Springfield, Kansas, Kenny Rogers, Pat Benatar, Hunter Hayes, Eddie Money, Night Ranger, Sugar Ray, Los Huracanes del Norte, Collective Soul, Night Ranger, and Los Angeles de Charly.
“We think the 20-year mark is a good time to reinvent the fest,” said Executive Director Brad Staab. “We’ve had a great run, and we are so proud of what we’ve accomplished. Now it’s time for the Joliet Park District to imagine what the next 20 years look like.”
After 20 amazing years and countless memories, the Joliet Park District thanks the fans, sponsors, staff, volunteers, vendors, Joliet Police and Fire, and everyone who helped make the Taste of Joliet happen. We will see you in 2027 with a brand new event…
